To bridge the gap between marketing claims and regulatory reality.

We founded ECE-LEDr with a singular purpose: to bring scientific transparency to the automotive lighting aftermarket. In a market flooded with "10,000 Lumens" claims and blinding glare, we stand as the independent verifier of what is truly safe, legal, and effective.

Who We Are

We are not a retailer. We are a collective of optical engineers, regulatory analysts, and automotive safety advocates.

While most platforms focus on selling you the brightest bulb, ECE-LEDr focuses on the right bulb. We operate independent photometric laboratories equipped with calibrated Goniophotometers and Integrating Spheres to test LED retrofits against the strict requirements of UN Regulation No. 37 (ECE R37).

What We Do

1. Independent Verification

We don't take manufacturer specs at face value. We test for Beam Pattern Accuracy, Luminous Flux (e.g., 1,500 lm ±10% for H11), and Thermal Stability.

2. Regulatory Tracking

We monitor the UNECE World Forum (WP.29) in Geneva. We track every amendment so you don't have to navigate complex legal texts.

3. Consumer Protection

If a product fails our glare test, it does not get our "Approved" badge, regardless of the brand.
